About Us

snackyplay is a free browser games portal. No download, no sign-up, no app store — open a game and play it, on a phone or a desktop.

What we make

The catalogue has two halves. A core set of games we host ourselves, which includes titles we wrote from scratch and open-source games used under their original licences. Alongside those sits a larger "more games" section supplied by partner catalogues, which run in an embedded player from the provider.

How we pick games

Everything is playable on a touchscreen, loads quickly on a modest connection, and is free to play. We prefer short sessions — puzzles, arcade and classic games you can finish in a few minutes. We do not host games that require payment to continue.

Licensing

We only publish games we are entitled to publish: games we wrote, games released under an open-source or Creative Commons licence, and games licensed to us through a partner catalogue. Where a game carries an author’s licence file, that file ships with the game untouched and the original author keeps their credit. If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to us and we will take it down while we look into it.

How the site is paid for

snackyplay is free to play and funded by advertising. That is the whole business model: we do not sell your personal data. What advertising means for the information collected about you is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
